BUSINESS HAS THE SCOOP ON K-9 WASTE
Topic: Business
Kingwood
Now normally does not publish press releases promoting a
business unless they are one of our supporting sponsors but
this one wreaked of a good story.
Many Kingwood
residents are well aware of the condition of their back yards,
due to approximately 40% of home owners having at least one
dog… if not more. As Fido continues to leave his “canine
calling cards” many residents are turning to outside
help to solve the problem. Wholly Krap K-9 Waste Removal
Co. is celebrating its one year anniversary this month, as
only one of three companies in Houston to help solve the
problem.
“Business
has been picking up,…literally”, according to
Mark James, the owner and founder of this unique business. “We
offer a very affordable solution to a very nasty problem” James
said. “Some clients are elderly, some physically challenged,
but most all of them, just don’t like to touch that
disgusting mess their dogs leave behind.” At only $13.00
a week for one dog, and $2.25 each additional dog, people
have no idea exactly how affordable it is. One area James
sees as a big need is large apartment communities. “When
you have a hundred or more dogs living on just a few acres
of ground, our service turns real quick from a luxury to
a necessity!” He says when he first started this business,
people couldn’t believe he was serious about scooping
and hauling away dog waste. “People would laugh and
say ‘Are you for real?’ Now they ask, ‘How
soon can you start in my yard?”’ Wholly Krap
has expanded its routes to include not only the Kingwood/Humble/Atascocita
Community, but most all of Northern Harris and Montgomery
Counties. James hopes to expand out to all areas of Houston
in the near future. To learn more visit www.whollykrap.com. |
